Palissade Dining Collection - Medium

At the time of writing it's a beautiful snowy day here in Ludlow. I am looking out of my office window towards the hills and the glistening white, punctuated by the occasional Red Kite flying over head, is making me feel rather Christmassy. 

Which makes my first pick very difficult to write about as this is a product which really comes into its own in the summer! The Palissade range needs no introduction, a firm favourite for years now and for good reason - it's robust, comfortable and competitively priced.

Sibast are a relatively new brand to be added to the website, after constant requests from the stores, who rate this Danish brand for the quality of their items and attention to detail.

The No 59 was originally designed by Sibast himself, this reissued model has been updated by his grandson, giving a lovely modern edge to a classic. With woven paperchord seat and a curved back you will be dining in comfort.

Bruunmunch Pure Dining Collection

Bruunmunch are a criminally unknown brand in the UK. They are fast developing a reputation in Europe and beyond with exciting, interesting and beautiful items.

Whilst I was very close to picking the Lobster chair or Reason sofa , I decided to highlight the Pure Table and Chira chair collection. This is the dining set I would have in my home given half a chance.

It looks great in a large dining room, but is equally at home in a more urban, compact space. 100% guaranteed to impress dinner guests. 

Design House Stockholm Botanical Range

2024 will be known as the year I stopped fighting it and fully embraced my indoor green-fingered credentials. Whilst my botanical results have been varied, one thing I have spotted is how important the container is to create an area of beauty around the home.

The very latest Panthella portable, rechargable light, this was only released a couple of months ago, but already gaining a lot of interest. The colours are bold and bright, it is light, but feels durable - which I always think is a very important part of choosing the correct portable lamp. 

Louis Poulsen have recently released this, with an upgraded battery, a better dimmer and USB-C charging. The price point is superb - I can see this lighting corners of homes all over the world in no time at all. 

Bolia Hayden Sofa

Bolia are one of those brands who create brilliant, thoughtful pieces, which on every inspection become more and more lovely. They are definitely a brand I go to more and more when speaking to customers looking for inspiration.

After recently sitting in a Bowie chair I was going to make that my choice, however Kieran, our marketing manager and resident social media influencer, has convinced me that this is the piece worthy of your attention - due to it's attention to detail, lovely wood embellishments and character. 

When you look at it it's hard to disagree! 

Churchill Shades

For those who don't know, Old School Electric are our sister company, with many items designed by our very own Mark Holloway. As a brand they're durable, reasonably priced and people love them. I have a number of Prismatic Pendants over my dining table, and they never fail to be noticed by my guests.

I love this light. It has a great price, it looks superb and has a classic design which means it fits almost anywhere. I have seen examples of the Liila in hallways, toilets, bathrooms, even several on walls as a feature in living areas.
