IP Adresses & Cookies

A cookie is a small text message given to a web browser by a web server. Your browser stores this cookie as a file and will send it back to the webserver at appropriate moments. Cookies are used by web servers to identify users and to personalise their visits by customising web pages. For instance, a cookie can be used to deliver a webpage that welcomes you by name, every time you visit a website that created it and placed it on your machine. Some sites use cookies to store your personal information - your name, e-mail address and interests. Our website does not use cookies in this way.

When you visit the website, we may collect your IP address (if available). We use cookies from a third-party data analytics tool and similar technologies, such as tags and pixels on the website, to collect information. These include what channel you came from e.g., through a paid advert or a search engine, the duration of your visit, your device type and your browsing behaviour, such as what pages you have visited.

We do not store or capture any other information, other than logging your IP address and session information. This is automatically undertaken by our web server and is only used for system administration and to provide statistics that we analyse to evaluate the use of our site. This information does not identify you to us as an individual, and we do not track your behaviour on our site and link it to you. We summarise data in-house to improve our service to customers and might share some statistics and summaries, without any elements of personal data attached, with other companies - for instance, to persuade them to advertise with us.

Our privacy policy only applies to this website, www.hollowaysofludlow.com. We have no control or influence over the privacy policies that apply to websites that you can access by following links out of this site. View more information about our Third Party Links here.

Security

We take all appropriate steps to ensure that your personal data is protected. All data is stored on secure servers and all staff who have clearance to access this data have been trained in following a strict code of conduct in data management.

On our website, we use the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol to encrypt the data between your browser and our servers to ensure the security of your details. We cannot guarantee the security of any personal information that you may send to us via email or other means.

Changes to this policy

Holloways of Ludlow reserves the right to, without prior notice, update this Privacy Policy at any time. You are advised to view this webpage regularly for any changes to our policy.
