Anderssen & Voll

Anderssen & Voll, a Norwegian design studio established in 2009 by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll. Recognised for its innovative approach to furniture, lighting, and home accessories design. Working with a number of international designer brands such as Muuto, Audo Copenhagen and &Tradition.

The pair have won numerous design awards which include the Red Dot and iF Design Awards, for their contemporary creations that are the perfect combination of both functionality and aesthetics.

Born in 1918 and 1913 respectively, they established their own design practice in 1944 after the younger Achille graduated from the Polytechnic University of Milan. Initially focusing on exhibition design and restoring buildings damaged in World War II, the brothers ultimately went on to design interiors, furniture and lighting.

Brasilia Lounge Chair

The Brasilia Lounge chair for Audo Copenhagen is a bold reinterpretation of mid-century design with a modern feel. The lantern Collection by Anderssen & Voll for New Works was inspired by the soft glow of the traditional Chinese rice paper shades.
