Most notably he created the simply stunning Chieftain Chair in 1949, a chair that continues to amaze to this day with early versions fetching many hundreds of thousands of dollars. Even recent chairs tend to holsd their value or even increase, such is the demand for this incredible piece. More affordable versions include the France Chair, designed in 1956 and originally made by an Englishman C.W.F France who had moved to Denmark.
