Positioned somewhere between fine art and industrial design, his pieces exist between that which is utilitarian in its function, and enigmatic in its presence.
Anastassiades established his self-titled design studio in 1994 to create a platform for the production of uncompromised objects. Less motivated by commercial incentive, Michael Anastassiades Studio has refined a philosophy that champions ideas and experimentation, freeing the design process to allow for greater creativity.
